The Bombay High Court has directed all the universities to follow a uniform mode of examination. The Court has directed the state government to take a decision on the same and issue directions to universities.
While hearing a case filed by Maharashtra students, the high court ordered universities to follow uniform exam patterns as established in a meeting between the Education Minister and all university Vice-Chancellors.
As a result, the Bench ordered the petitioners to submit their representation or raise their issues to the State for consideration.
On June 16, the petitioners' grievances will be heard in person by the Director of Higher Education Department, Mantralaya, Mumbai, who will hear all of the petitioners' suggestions.
The writ petition was dismissed as a result of these directions.
