Panasam Akshara | Delhi HC | Jun30,2022Delhi High Court has expressed concerns about heavy traffic in national capital during monsoons and issue of storing rain water and directed authorities to file a report on them. looking into public importance of issue and reports Justice Jasmeet Singh and Dinesh Kumar Sharma took Suo Motu cognizance in the matter.Recent court order directs parties to file a report on the steps taken by agencies to store and harvest rainwater and steps taken to address as well as ease traffic jams in Delhi during monsoons and other periods.The court has issued notices to central government and Delhi government along with other departments related to the matter concerned and posted the matter further to next hearing on July 4 before the bench headed by Chief Justice.
