After losing his case, a 55-year-old man attempted suicide in the Bombay High Court.

He attempted to slit his wrist with a sharp cutter but was stopped in the middle of the deed by attorney Mahesh Rawoo, who was standing nearby and was able to detain him.The Mumbai Police took the man into arrest shortly after.

The incident occurred in the courtroom of Justice PD Naik, who presided over the case. After the court denied his appeal, he had no choice but to take drastic measures.

According to sources, the scanning devices established at entry gates for plaintiffs have been dysfunctional for several weeks. This could have made it simpler for the litigant to get a sharp instrument into the courtroom without being spotted.
