Unnatural in Indian Culture That Father-in-Law Will Rape Daughter-in-Law Alongside Another Person: Allahabad HC Grants Bail Case Title: Babu Khan v. State of UP The Allahabad High Court recently granted anticipatory bail to a man accused of raping his daughter-in-law, stating that it is unnatural for a father-in-law to rape his own daughter-in-law alongside another person in our Indian culture. The Court addressed an anticipatory bail plea submitted on behalf of the petitioner (Babu Khan) in connection with a case brought against him under sections 376, 511, 504, and 506 I.P.C. The victim alleged that the applicant and another man came to her brother's residence when she was alone in 2018. The father-in-law began assaulting her after discovering that her brother was not at home, and two men allegedly attempted to rape her after that. He(accused) was ordered to be released on anticipatory bail after posting a personal bond of Rs. 25,000/- with two sureties in the same amount, to the satisfaction of the Station House Officer.
