Delhi High Court seeks detailed status report from Crime Branch in J&K Wazir murder case.

The Delhi High Court has sought detailed status report from Crime Branch on bail plea moved by accused in murder case of Senior National Conference leader Trilochan Singh Wazir from Jammu and Kashmir.Balbir Singh Billa accused in the case moved to Delhi High Court in September 2021 seeking bail stating that the case was fabricated against him also he is in custody since then.Justice Sudhir Kumar Jain heard the matter and sought Crime Branch to file detailed report on matter and listed it on September 2.Advocate Harpreet Singh Hora and Jasdeep Singh argued that the investigation is completed and the accused is in custody past 10months.They said the evidence is deficient in the case and accused has been implicated falsely in the case.The main accused Harpreet Singh Khalsa is absconding and the police are making efforts to arrest him.Primarily Moti Nagar Police Station has investigation and now the Crime Branch is dealing with it.Wazir was a former member of the J&K legislative council,chairman of J&K's Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee and president of transport union for last three decades had come to Delhi from his residence in Jammu.The state police informed that Wazir was missing and tried to locate him.The authorities also checked if he boarded the flight to Canada but it resulted that he didn't and he was found dead in West Delhi.
