The Delhi High Court junked a plea asking relief over lack of stock of popular liquor brands namely "Royal Stag" in the Delhi.Court has refused the plea ,a bench of Justice Yashwant Varma warned of imposing fine on petitioner who is a habitual litigant approaching court for petty and simple issues.Accordingly,the counsel has withdrawn the plea.The Court says that popularity of brand is a subjective concept and not something for courts to adjudicate.Earlier,High Court has also dismissed another petition seeking directions to control intoxicating drinks and drugs in National Capital and also to public health warning awareness on the bottles as well as similarly to cigarette boxes.
