Rajasthan Minister's Son accused in rape case,he sends goons to throw chemical on complainant's face

A woman accused son of Rajasthan Minister of allegedly raping her approached Delhi High Court seeking cancellation of anticipatory bail permitted to him by Tis Hazari Court of Advocate Amit Sahni, Additional Public Prosecutor appeared for state,and petition was filed by Advocates Monish Panda and Abhishek Pati for the women.The plea noted that order passed by trial court did not consider material aspects and settled with principles of law while granting bail to him.It stated that the trial court failed to consider nature and gravity of accusation,the severity of punishment in event of conviction,the danger of fleeing,if released on bail it's likely to mislead witnesses with his influence.The accused is son of Rajasthan Minister and highly influential who has capacity to create problems in investigation process and coerce and intimidate witnesses.All of these material facts have been ignored while granting bail,the plea stated.The petitioner alleged that accused constantly threaten and browbeat her in order to pressurise her to take back the complaint dated 7 May,2022 made by her against the respondent.The accused sent goons who throw chemicals on complainant's face and warned her that,'Tu manegi nahi na case wapis le,Yah to bas trailer hai' and escaped from the scene mentioned in the plea.Petitioner says,that last year she had gone to Sawai Madhopur along with accused and his friends where the accused gave her laced with sedatives and raped while unconscious,later threatened and blackmailed her of leaking nude photos and videos in public, she mentioned that he assured her he love her and wants to marry her stated the plea in Delhi High Court.The bench of Justice Yogesh Khanna issued notice to States and accused Rohit Joshi in matter and sought a response from them and listed the hearing for 23 August,2022
