A new updated in the PILs for Agnipath Scheme.

A bench of Justice DY Chandrachud, Surya Kant and AS Bopanna asked all the high courts of Kerala, Punjab, Haryana, Patna and Uttarakhand to tranfer PILs pending against Agnipath Scheme before them to Delhi High Court,3Petitions were filed 2of the petitions were PIL and the other was writ petition by group of shortlisted candidates for Indian Air Force. They pleaded that there recruitment shall be commenced by earlier process regardless of the Scheme. The bench said,"In our view a multiplicity of writ petitions on the subject matter would either be desirable of proper, ond option would be for this court to consolidate and transfer all pending proceedings to High Court,However this would deprive the court of the considered view of High Court on various aspects of validity of the scheme and it's implementation that are raised in the court's".Bench says, the petitioners of all the court's can also opt to intervene in the proceedings before the Delhi High Court.A bench of Chief Justice Satish Chandra Sharma and Justice Subramonium Prasad listed the matter for July 20 to hear pleas challenging scheme. All the PILs are transferred to Delhi High Court.
